Jakez’s academic and professional background
He began his higher education by entering the STAPS program in Nantes after his BAC S. The sports sector was his first choice, but after a few weeks he realized that it did not correspond to his expectations in terms of available opportunities. Jakez does not want to work in a daily job as a PE teacher or even be a sports teacher.
He quickly changed his path and enrolled in a training program to pursue his second choice: computer science. He joined a BTS SIO at the beginning of the 2015 school year and for two years studied with the goal of earning his degree. These two years are interesting but lack in his eyes concrete projects and real cases. To prepare for his Master I, he chose to join the ENI in Nantes and joined the company JBL Courtage for his work-study.
Within a team of four developers he learns site management, bug resolution as well as the implementation of improvements for the company and customer support.
For his last year Jakez wanted to join a bigger and more structured team. For his Master II, he chose the company KeplerVO, which is composed of seven developers. In this structure specialized in the automotive industry, he validates his last year of studies and accepts to continue in permanent employment. We are in October 2020.
Eager for a change, he hesitates to move to Rennes or to join his family and friends. The call of his private circle is stronger and he returns to the Vendée in 2021. He then looked for a job closer to home and joined our team in March 2022 at the same time as Marina.
What is Jakez’s personality?
If we have retained one thing from this interview it is that Jakez is a lover of love.
He is passionate about sports and more particularly about running and tennis, this passion was passed on by his father. When he was 9 years old, Jakez started playing tennis and together with his dad the same year, he shared moments on the courts. For 15 years he will practice this sport. His father also passed on something else to him: a passion for words. Particularly vigilant about spelling, he loves words and the meaning of words.
Her mother, a management controller, passed on her passion for numbers. Her personality is also a transmission from her mother who gave her her sensitive side and the fact of living her emotions.
Music and all its forms touch Jakez. For the respect of the art and to thank the artists he is part of those who still buy CDs. He likes music in general, except for metal which has not yet managed to resonate with him.
He also likes board games, especially card games. A perfect afternoon for him is friends and a game of belote.
The pillars of his life are: his partner, his friends and his family.

He assists Alban on a daily basis and he appreciates this position because his goal in a few years is to accompany his own team. He likes to work independently with all the necessary information to successfully complete a project.
What he likes about his job is the fact that what he does will be useful and helpful to users. He likes the reflection that his job requires, and the necessary hindsight to be able to use the right technologies while thinking about the future.
